Overview:
As the HARMONIA Project reaches the culmination of its transformative four-year journey, this final event will serve as a pivotal gathering of European cities and resilience experts at Politecnico di Milano. Here, we will share the project’s journey, highlighting both achievements and lessons learned.
The four pilot cities—Milan, Piraeus, Sofia, and Ixelles—will present their unique HARMONIA stories, reflecting on why they joined the project, the climate challenges they face, and how HARMONIA has supported their resilience-building efforts.
The event will include an in-depth demonstration of the innovative tools developed, such as the HARMONIA Integrated Resilience Assessment Platform and three decision support systems, essential for cities to effectively assess and address climate risks.
Panel discussions with prominent speakers will spark forward-looking dialogues on HARMONIA’s future, aiming to promote and expand its benefits to other cities across Europe. This event will also provide an excellent platform for other projects, initiatives, cities, and regions to share their stories, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange.
